Apt Building Renovations

We have started in the Apartment Building renovations finally.

After 2 years of constant calls about this sort of work we have desided to take on some minor and some major clients in regards to masonry and general repairs.

Thanks to Cmac Masonry we were able to repair this buildings brick work and totally rebuild the buildings roof line. At one time this amazing looking building was the nicest looking apt building on Queen st but with some rather shotty workmanship from former maintenance staff everything started to go down hill. And quickly.

After picture will soon follow.

We will be adding some pictures of this building as time goes on but here is a list of the work we have been doing over the last year.

We started out with;

- Removing the knob and tube wiring from units as they became empty. Installing new duplexes and GFI's and new stove cable.
- Repainted the hallways and front lobby (we are still in the process of painting the stairways)
- Removed the old Carpet and installed brand new throughout the halls
- Added a small garden to the front of the building (more landscaping is scheduled for spring 2008)
- Had the buildings heating system rebuilt to operate properly. Replaced all of the boiler room steam pipes
- Repainted all Gas lines and steam lines
- Insulated all steam pipes to prevent heat loss
- Added a chemical system to the boiler to keep it clean and running
- Removed old garbage from basement, inspected and repaired foundation wall leaks.
- Resealed Driveway at rear of building
- Repaired sections of roof (Flat roof replacement has been scheduled for spring of 2008)
- Acquired a list from each tenants apt issues regarding forgotten issues and completed these problems.

There have been so many jobs done since last March of 2007 it would take a very long time to list everything. But I assure you that this will once again be the nicest looking building on Queen St. by Mid 2009.

The owner and good friend of ours has stated many times that he feels he was ripped off in the past and is extremely excited about having us do the work needed to the building. We don't toy around when it comes to doing the job right the first time. Yes it does cost a little more to get it done right but in the long run it is worth it. 1 you keep your tenants very happy and they do not want to leave and you can be proud to say this is your building once again.

If you have a building you would like us to inspect for you please don't hesitate to call us. We would be happy to serve you in anyway possible.
